While I don’t often write letters of thanks or recommendation, I felt the remodeling job you completed in my master bath during my extended time out of the country warranted my written letter of personal thanks.

As we discussed prior to my departure for Iraq, I had given you complete freedom to select all of the materials and access to my home while I was away. Granted coming home to my own home was a great feeling after spending that much time away, but when I came home to a magazine quality bathroom I was literally speechless.

The materials you selected for the (tile, vanity, top, faucets, towel bars, etc.) are completely coordinated and look so well together I feel fortunate and honored to have had you make the selections. Thanks also for your extra effort of finding and purchasing the matching towels and soap dispenser – things I would never have even considered shopping for or taken the time to do so, yet it completes the project that anyone can be proud of.

You and your crew did an outstanding job in my master bath and although you won’t hear me say this too often, I am looking forward to my next deployment overseas so that the second bath can be completed. I can’t wait to see how it turns out.

Thanks again for showing you truly care about your design efforts and your craftsmanship. It really was a perfect job.

Thanks so much for the generous gift.  I put it to good use at the jewelry store and bought myself a beautiful ruby ring, my birthstone.  Your thoughtfulness is a sign of your success.  You both are building more than objects, but relationships that will stand the test of time.

Dear Stephanie,

It’s been about three weeks since work was completed on our kitchen.  A few days after the last technician put the finishing touches on our job, we moved the final items into the room, and put the last strokes of touch-up paint on the walls. We can say we are done with the kitchen!

“Thank you” seems so inadequate, but that is what we offer you…from the bottom of our hearts.  On one hand, we say, “Why did we wait so long?”, and, on the other hand, we say, “This was well worth the wait!”  We had friends over this past weekend, and we wish you could have been here to hear them ooh and aah over the change, to offer their accolades regarding the finished  product . All of them were very impressed (as well they should be!) since you transformed our dysfunctional, ugly kitchen into one of function, style and beauty. 

Thank you, too, for being open to our ideas, for incorporating some features not usually included in a design (we’ve gotten so many positive comments about the trivets used in the backsplash), and for creating a design that gave us everything we wanted (and more!) while staying within the framework of our original kitchen layout.

It was a pleasure working with you.  Again, thank you.

To Stephanie,

I am writing to thank you for the beautiful kitchen design.  Your creative layout, by changing the location of the appliances, really made a huge difference.  I was so used to my kitchen being the same way for 35 years, I never thought of a different layout.  Now I absolutely love the functionality of my new kitchen and can’t imagine it the way it was before!

My friends who have seen the new kitchen rave about the updated look and the beautiful marble backsplash and all the new lighting.  They call it their “dream kitchen”.  It certainly is my dream kitchen. You really paid attention to every detail and the end result is better than I could have imagined.
